West Oak Lane Charter School is looking for a Math Tutor
Job Type – Part-Time – Flexible Hours
We are looking for part-time math tutor for our students in grades K-8th for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. Tutors will be required to support small group instruction and intervention and administer one-on-one assessments. Must be comfortable and knowledgeable up to at least 6th grade math level. Hours are flexible. No more than 30 hrs. a week. Applicants need to be available at least 2 days a week. Hours of instruction will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, flexible between 8:00am and 3:00pm.
RequirementsApplicants must have reliable transportation, current clearances, at least an associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree in education, a bachelor’s degree and PA certification in Elementary Education, Special Education, Grades 4-8 Mathematics, or Mathematics 7-12 preferred.
Applicants are required to be reliable, organized, enthusiastic, and interested in working with younger students.
Retired teachers and students enrolled in education programs are encouraged to apply.
