RMS Truck Bodies is expanding! We're seeking a skilled Mechanic / Technician / Fabricator-or a motivated trainee eager to learn-to install and service hydraulic equipment on truck bodies. You'll perform quality work safely, professionally, and efficiently in a supportive, growth-minded shop.

Compensation & Schedule

• $25+/hour (based on experience)

• Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.- 3:30 p.m.

• Full-time, benefits-eligible

Responsibilities

• Install, plumb, and commission hydraulic equipment on truck bodies (e.g., pumps, valves, cylinders, PTOs)

• Perform light fabrication/welding, mounting, and fit-up of equipment and accessories

• Route hoses and wiring; perform basic 12V electrical hookups and testing

• Read/use build sheets, drawings, and spec sheets; verify parts and configurations

• Troubleshoot hydraulic/mechanical issues and complete quality repairs

• Follow shop safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

• Document work performed and parts used; other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• Valid driver's license

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand/power tools

• Strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency

• Preferred: experience with hydraulics, light welding/fabrication, or 12V electrical (will train the right candidate)
