The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes, 777X ECS (Environmental Control Systems) organization is looking for highly motivated and talented Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineers (Associate, Experienced or Senior) to join the 777-9 and 777-8F team in Everett, WA.
Position Overview:

Join our dynamic team as a key contributor in the development and documentation of cutting-edge mechanical and fluid systems, as well as thermal environment requirements that shape our innovative system designs. In this role, you will play a vital part in the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of system, component, and installation designs, ensuring comprehensive design documentation is provided to downstream teams. Your analytical skills will be essential as you perform and document validations to ensure that our systems and components consistently meet rigorous requirements and specifications. You will also engage in supplier development, testing, and production activities, guiding suppliers to optimize integration and achieve our ambitious program goals. By upholding design standards for system components and providing detailed installation documentation, you will help elevate our projects to new heights.

This position offers the chance to support one or more sub-teams within Environmental Controls Systems (ECS), including CACTCS systems, Low Pressure Systems and analysis, EE Cooling, and Ice Fog and Rain Protection Systems. Position Responsibilities:
Requirements Traceability & Development Assurance
System Safety Analysis Documentation, including the creation of Fault Hazard Assessments (FHAs), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEAs), Fault Tree Analysis (FTAs)
Systems Controls Support, including Dynamic Tuning
Lab & Flight Test Support
Some Factory Support expected
Build Airplane Support Manuals, such as Fault Isolation Manual (FIM) and Component Maintenance Manual (CMM)
Interfacing with intra-Boeing engineering teams, such as Flight Deck Crew Operations, Pilots, Electrical Systems, Stress, Structures, Propulsion, and Aerodynamics
Integrating with suppliers and customers
Develop a project schedule, then maintain deliverable releases on time.
Leading, training, and mentoring junior engineers
Work Authorization:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Everett, WA.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
2+ years of engineering experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Technical Knowledge in system controls, mechanical systems, systems modeling, heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.
Experience in systems development, qualification, flight test, and certification
Knowledge and understanding of airplane integration
Skilled at requirements development, validation and verification
Background in System Safety Analysis preferred
Experience preferred in Environmental Control Systems (ECS); Air Conditioning, Anti-Ice, Bleed Air Supply, Cabin Pressure Controls, Low Pressure
Build positive relationships and work well with a cross functional team.
Strong project management skills to independently execute a variety of projects to completion.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range:
Associate (level 2): $81,600 – $110,400
Experienced (level 3): $102,000 – $138,000
Senior (level 4): $124,100 – $167,900
