Job Description
Join Our Fast-Paced, Supportive Team! | Pay: $19–$22/hour
The Medical Assistant 2 provides essential support and administrative services to the office, the doctors, and the patients in a fast-paced doctor’s office. This person will be involved in a wide spectrum of tasks focused around assisting the Physician in all minor in office procedures, as well as being cross-trained in all aspects of the Front Desk Receptionist role to include scheduling, data entry, and maintaining patient records.
Medical Assistant 2 Essential Functions/Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

Room patients, take vitals, update EMRs

Assist with in-office procedures: wart removal, diabetic fittings, minor surgeries

Take X-rays, collect specimens, apply dressings & DME

Process refills, pre-authorizations, and post-visit follow-ups

Educate patients on care instructions

Prep exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and manage inventory
Medical Assistant 2 Required Skills and Experience:
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program OR 2+ years of experience in a similar clinical role

Strong experience assisting with medical procedures, wound care, DME, and surgical prep
-
Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy practices (mandatory)

Technologically savvy; proficient in Microsoft 365 products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams

CMA or RMA preferred
Medical Assistant 2 Pay Range:
- $19 - $22 per hour
