Medical Assistant
Location: Bay Ridge Brooklyn NY
Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 annuallySchedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Summary:Our pediatric office in Bay Ridge is expanding! We’re looking for a Medical Assistant who enjoys working with children and families while keeping the flow of patient care organized and efficient.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare pediatric patients and families for exams and immunizations
- Take vital signs, height, and weight measurements
- Record medical histories and update EMR records
- Assist physicians during checkups and procedures
- Perform lab tests, collect specimens, and manage results
- Maintain exam rooms and stock medical supplies
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited MA training program
- Minimum one year experience in a Pediatric, Family Practice, or Urgent Care setting
- Spanish, Arabic, Creole, Russian, or Mandarin speaking a plus
- Familiarity with EMR systems and pediatric protocols
