Job Description
Vantage MedTech provides comprehensive design and manufacturing services, supporting the advancement of medical technologies from concept through to product realization. We develop and manufacture new products for the treatment of heart failure, cancer, stroke, Gene Therapy, COPD, TBI, Atrial Fibrillation, Blood Clots, Brain Surgery, and many more! We are looking for a passionate, humble, and enthusiastic Summer 2026 Engineering Intern with a strong background in either Electrical, Software, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering. This internship offers an opportunity to become part of a talented design team and gain valuable learning experience. The intern will obtain knowledge in developing electronic medical products that improve the lives of others. The internship will support design and development of innovative medical devices. The intern will work directly with engineers, project managers and other talented professionals to learn new skills. This is a paid internship. This is not a remote opportunity. This position is based on-site at our Lyndhurst, NJ office. Local candidates only. We do not offer relocation assistance. No Agencies or third-party candidates, please.Key Responsibilities:
- Full-time Summer 2026 internship position.
- Contribute to Engineering Product Development under the direction of a technical lead.
- Learn the variety of hardware / software platforms.
- Demonstrate competence in declared technical field commiserate with education level.
- Accept advice and coaching from engineers.
- Request help when project outcomes are at risk.
- Working towards a Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or Computer Engineering.
- GPA of 3.3 or higher.
- Entering Junior or Senior year of college.
- Understanding of microcontrollers, high voltage supplies, lab measurement devices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Sense of urgency and ownership.
