Job Summary
Responsible for the maintenance and construction of instrument systems, devices and peripheral equipment. The incumbent is directly responsible for troubleshooting for problem identification and repair of instruments used in regulatory process control.Qualifications
-Diagnose problems, complete repairs or make adjustments.-Prepares mechanical parts by operating equipment and using hand tools, such as, cutting, sanding, filing, and drilling.-Completes mechanical assignments by lifting and holding parts and components in place; scraping and cleaning parts and components.-Completes mechanical design projects by training and guiding technicians.-Shutting off, cleaning and relighting central building heating furnaces and boilers.-Make proper entries on repair orders, inspection forms and other necessary documents.-Makes recommendations to improve the functionality of equipment and systems.

Medical vacuum, medical air, instrument air maintenance and installation experience 1-5 years requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities- Thorough knowledge of the practices, methods and tools of the mechanical trade.
-Ability to troubleshoot and maintain medical air, medical vacuum, instrument air, lab air, air dryers, air coolers, oil-water separators, valves, solenoids, alarm panels and controllers.- Familiarity with the principles involved in the operation of diesel engines and steam turbines.- Must have strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, hydraulics, and mechanical systems with the ability to read and comprehend related schematics and troubleshooting charts.- The ability to read and interpret manuals, technical drawings, and blueprints to determine proper operating conditions.- Self-motivated with the ability to effectively manage with multiple priorities and deadlines.
