Job Description
Medical Office Assistant Needed
Able to juggle a whirlwind of tasks with ease, all while keeping a smile on your face and a calm, friendly demeanor? Our office needs a motivated new team member to help us give our patients a 5-star experience all the time, every time! You’ll be handling the important work to set the doctor and the patient up for success. As the first person to work with each patient during their appointment, you’ll be the one that shows them that we are there to serve them in every way we can.
No Experience Needed:
Nevada state Phlebotomy certification and bilingual (Spanish/English) proficiency required. Prior medical office experience can be a plus, but it’s certainly not required.
Some of your duties will include:
-Maintaining a friendly and professional tone to answer all calls and emails, take messages as needed, respond to inquiries and concerns for our existing and prospective patients
-Manage the practice’s schedule, making appointments for patients
-Reviewing, updating and organizing patient medical charts for accuracy and authenticity
-Understanding and respecting patient privacy laws
-Escorting the patient back to the exam room and obtaining the patient’s vital signs, drawing blood samples ordered by the doctor, operating a centrifuge, and documenting the patient's concerns as well as updates to treatment.
-Taking payments and applying them to patient accounts
-Consistent cross-training for optimal career growth (offered and expected)
- Maintaining the cleanliness of exam rooms between patients and as needed
As the in-office clinical support alongside the physician, you will assist with procedures such as preparing PRP for injections, your ability to learn and grow is boundless!

Oasis Occupational Medicine is a busy, growing concierge practice in Las Vegas, we are growing so much we have expanded! We are moving to 2501 Fire Mesa Street, in January 2026. We specialize in the non-operative treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, using a combination of medications, therapies, and injections tailored to each patient’s specific needs.
