Company:
Argon STBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Project Management Specialist to our Argon ST Maritime Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) team in Fairfax, VA.
The selected candidate will assist in the execution of our system development and production contracts with NAVAIR. The role will also entail managing inter-company work being executed by Argon ST for other Boeing divisions. The job will span managing all aspects of Government contracting, from software development efforts to system production and sell-offs, to operational support, to system spares and repairs.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads others and directs all phases of assigned cross-organizational or business unit projects
Learn and practice the Boeing Program Management Best Practices
Manages Risk, Issues and Opportunities for the program
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partners
Oversight and management responsibility (including performance management & reporting) for a portfolio of small to medium size projects in support of organizational goals and objectives
Ensures assigned individuals are executing the identified tasks and providing appropriate tracking and reporting per plan
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher in a business or technical field (A technical degree is defined as any four-year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study).
Program Management, Project Management, and/or Business Operations experience
3+ years’ experience partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience integrating and communicating across all levels in an organization
Experience with Program Management, including scheduling and Cost Account Manager (CAM) for Earned Value Management (EVM)
Experience with DoD or Government acquisition
Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility
Strong analytical skills
Effective time management, communication, and organizational skills
Work Location:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary pay range: USD $93,500 – $126,500
