Job Description

Location: Tysons, VA (Full-Time, On-Site)Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP)Position Type: Full-TimeSalary Range: $165,000 – $190,000

We are seeking a Mid-Level Systems Engineer responsible for supporting and maintaining application infrastructure across enterprise networks. This role ensures system availability, security compliance, and operational continuity in a 24/7 mission environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, install, configure, and maintain operating systems and application infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements to ensure availability and reliability.
  • Implement security controls, backups, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Develop automation scripts to improve system efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot complex system, application, and network issues.
  • Maintain detailed system documentation and architecture diagrams.
  • Provide on-call support as required.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of network architecture, server administration, and virtualization.
  • Experience with automation and scripting.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to commute daily to Tysons, VA.
  • Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP).

Proposed Salary Range: $165,000 – $190,000
