Job Description
The Mid-Market Account Manager is an integral member of the commercial lines service team, supporting Account Executives in delivering customer solutions and ensuring satisfaction. The primary responsibility of the Account Manager is to support multiple Account Executives who oversee service, placement, and business development for mid-market commercial lines accounts.
Success in this role requires the ability to take direction, adhere to corporate standards and internal procedures, manage and manipulate data, document in agency management systems, stay organized, and prioritize tasks effectively.
This is a hybrid role and will require 1-3 days per week in our Boston, MA; Guilford, CT; or Glastonbury, CT office.
Your Impact
Partner with Account Executives to manage the renewal process by preparing exposure summaries, gathering supplemental applications, updating submissions, drafting proposals and coverage summaries, and preparing binding documents.
Draft loss exhibits and obtain loss runs directly from carriers.
Coordinate certificates and proof of insurance.
Maintain accurate records in the system of record.
Ensure quality control of insurance program documentation, including policies, endorsements, audits, and claims.
Support Account Executives with billing, including invoicing policy transactions, reviewing aged accounts receivable, processing return check requests, and applying payments.
Successful Candidates Will Have
2+ years of experience in a Property & Casualty brokerage environment, with knowledge of Property & Casualty business.
Proficiency in Excel and Word.
Ability to follow processes and procedural guidance.
Strong analytical skills.
High attention to detail.
Effective time management and task prioritization to meet deadlines.
Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work efficiently in teams and take direction from multiple individuals.
Insurance licenses, or willingness to obtain them as required by the company.

Pay Range:
51,800 - 85,000 Annual
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for this role.
