Mini Split/Hvac Technician

Are you an experienced Mini Split Technician looking to join a reputable and thriving company? Stanley Lewis Plumbing and Heating Corp, located in the heart of Brooklyn, NY, is seeking skilled technicians to join our team.

You will start as a contractor (1099) with the opportunity to convert to a full-time, company employee.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our primary focus is Mini Splits, but you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and servicing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in split system, rooftop units, mini-split units, gas furnaces, heat pump units, and package units.

• Strong mechanical and control troubleshooting skills.

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance

• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and provide effective solutions

• Complete service calls and work orders in a timely and efficient manner

• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed to company standards

• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and recommendations

• Must have good communication skills.

• Available for some off hours and weekends is a plus.

• Must have EPA 608 Type II certification. Universal certification, preferred.

• Must have a valid driving license and clean driving record.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials.
• Comfortable climbing high ladders.
• Able working in confined spaces.
• Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling.
• Exposure to varying temperatures, chemicals, and noisy environments.
