Job Description
Mobile Patrol Security Officer- Part Time, eligible to move to full time after 180 days.Permanent Schedule: Friday and SaturdayShift: 8:00 PM- 4:00 AM / 7:00PM - 5:00AM [8-10 hours each night]Location: Boston, MA [patrol vehicle is picked up in Dorchester]Pay range: $19.00 - 22.00 hourly (Based on experience)Why join us?Signal of New England is seeking current and aspiring motivated security professionals with a desire to have a direct impact in the safety and wellbeing of the local community. Signal offers industry-leading training, incentive-based raises, and opportunities for career growth within our organization.Job Description:As a Patrol Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises, assets, and personnel. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Monitoring premises through randomized roving patrols on foot, in vehicle, and hybrid, throughout the Boston and Greater Boston region.
- Enforcing client specific rules and regulations; examples - access control, vehicle removal, building lock ups.
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations promptly and effectively
- Writing detailed patrol reports and incident reports, documenting all activities and findings
- Providing excellent customer service and assistance to our clients residents, guests, and employees
- Collaborating with local law enforcement and emergency response services when necessary
- Must have a clean driving record- No Speeding Tickets, No At Fault Accidents within the last three years
- Must have a reliable transportation to and from the vehicle staging location and possess an active Massachusetts drivers license
- Must be over 21 years old
- Timely, Trustworthy, Responsible, Dependable, and Coachable
- Able to operate independently and support the greater patrol team as needed
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Observant, detail oriented, and able to problem solve
- Ability to handle conflict and adversity by remaining calm and collected, influencing situations to the most desirable conclusion
