TAT Technologies is looking for a qualified, working MPG Machine Shop Crew Chief. who is dedicated to both internal and external customers alike to manage the overall APU operations and is responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control and safety measures as established and set for the Operations Department.
- Responsibilities may include but are not limited to budgeting and forecasting, lean and continuous improvement initiatives, achieving and maintaining OTD requirements, regulatory compliance adherence, and employee management. We need someone who possesses solid RCCA, Lean Sig-Sigma, Flow, and execution abilities.
- Responsible for the overall development, planning, training, safety, coordinating, cleanliness, organization, part protection, flow, efficiencies, standard times, deadlines, part needs, sub-work orders and travelers related to APUs, LRUs, components, parts and tools.
- Responsible for maintaining equipment related to area.
- Responsible for meeting customer and contract turn times.
- Responsible for segregation of airworthy and non-airworthy parts and FAA and non-FAA components.
- Read, write, comprehend and comply with work instructions; write technical and accurate reports as needed.
- Accurately complete work orders, BOMs, data inputs within ERP system.
- Read, understand and comply with Commercial, FAA, EASA, Repair Station, ITAR and ISO documentations.
- The Crew Chief will verify that personnel in their area have been properly trained and will assign tasks and confirm that all maintenance is performed properly.
- Mentor and train other personnel.
- Operate, maintain and service specialized equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by any supervisor in a professional manner.
