Job Description
Job Summary:
Pro-active, excellent communicator with hands-on and technically skilled Support Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in handling network operations.
This role involves technical support, diagnosing network and security issues, and contributing to infrastructure improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
-Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for network and security-related issues.
-Troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and configuration issues involving routers, switches, firewalls, access points and VPNs.
-Assist in analyzing network logs, security alerts, and packet captures to identify root causes.
-Support and maintain internal knowledge base, technical documentation, and support tools.
-Collaborate with network and security teams to implement fixes and preventive measures.
-Participate in after-hours support rotation as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology /Certificate in related discipline
Exp : 2–3 years of experience in Tech support, networking or security operations.
-Strong in networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs, hand-on troubleshooting firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network security principles.
-Hands-on experience with end-to-end network setup , command-line tools (Linux/ Bash/ PowerShell preferred).
- Proficient in Prometheus/Jabbix/Nagios
- Should be able to deploy, troubleshoot and manage application Servers, Databases, Intranet applications, MS SharePoint and related legacy applications.
-Ability to generate policies and documentation of network model diagrams.
-Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Relocate : Minnesota. (Ignore if looking for remote/NOT A REMOTE POSITION)
Duration : Long Term / Full Time. Direct and Onsite only.
