Job Summary: The Network Manager of Central Pharmacy Operations is a member of the UVMHN Pharmacy Leadership Team. The Network Manager participates in the development and execution of the Network department strategic and operational plan. The Network Manager will provide leadership, direction, and operational planning to advance central pharmacy operations within all aspects of the medication use process and department of pharmacy to enhance care of patients within UVMHN. The Network Manager will provide oversight of the central pharmacy operations team and serve as the leader of the Central Pharmacy Services Center. The Network Manager will work collaboratively with all the Directors of Pharmacy to coordinate a uniform Network strategy for centralized pharmacy operations.

  • Education:   
  • A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an ACPE-accredited college or university is required. Pharmacist licensure in Vermont is required.
  • PGY-1 residency or equivalent experience
  • PGY-2 residency in Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership preferred
  • Pharmacy operations experience preferred
  • Board Certification preferred

    Experience:   

  • Minimum of 5 years as a pharmacist with at least 3 years progressive leadership experience at the supervisor level and above with increasing responsibility for the management and supervision of pharmacy personnel with emphasis on pharmacy operations and systems, leadership and management of change, project management, pharmacy compliance, pharmacy education programs.
