Job Description

Lead Inventory Control Analyst

Location: Washington, DC

Clearance: Secret

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to use inventory computer programs to update counts and compile reports, such as spreadsheets
  • Mathematical and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ordering inventory from suppliers, main warehouse and securing shipment arrival times
  • Managing inventory by stocking and cataloging products
  • Performing quality checks on stored inventory and discarding inventory that does not meet the company's standards
  • Updating inventory count and maintaining inventory records to share with management and other stakeholders
  • Reporting discrepancies in inventory from last count
  • Implementing loss prevention
  • Daily, weekly and monthly inventories
  • Ability to use inventory computer programs to update counts and compile reports, such as spreadsheets
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Researching the accuracy of product details and testing new products
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Must be able to lift 50LB
  • Work with management to identify areas of improvement in Storage and ordering practices
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and people
  • Required to stand on your feet for extended periods of time with walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, stooping, crouching, bending, reaching above the shoulders, twisting, crawling, and kneeling as needed.
  • Physical environment includes noise, heat, cold, and lint dust.

Additional Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years of inventory management experience
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts
  • Ability to obtain security clearance
