Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant New Haven CTUp to $190k4-day work week!We are looking for a motivated Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant to join our practice in New Haven, CT. Our ideal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is experienced in orthopedics/musculoskeletal issues, comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals. Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an NP/PA and be able to work independently in CT. Our primary office location is in New Haven, but the incoming NP/PA may be asked to provide coverage at our offices in Middletown or Waterbury. We offer innovative non-surgical options for those suffering from acute and chronic Musculo-skeletal issues. Our skilled providers work to identify the source of the pain and explore cutting-edge solutions. We employ the latest forms of techniques, to free patients from debilitating pain, encourage healing and mobility, and help regain an active lifestyle. Duties:

Patient exam/evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging)
Order and review tests/labs
Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises, and various modalities
Manage patient care
Treatments- trigger point and injections under US guidance (training available)
Documentation and progress notes – daily, timely and accurate
Collaboration with the team and senior providers as needed for comprehensive patient care plans

Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant program
NP/PA license in CT
Minimum of 2+ years’ clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
Musculoskeletal management background is preferred

Schedule:

Full time (4 or 5-day work week)

Compensation:

$160k-$190k (DOE) plus potential bonus compensation
