Job Description

The OB Technician role at Saint Luke's North Hospital-Barry Road is vital in providing care to patients undergoing surgical interventions in the Labor and Delivery area. This position focuses on assisting with surgical procedures and delivering patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Shift:

  • 2 - 12 hours shifts
  • Nights
  • 4 weekend shifts in 6 weeks (Fridays/Saturdays) AND 2 Sundays; 1 major and minor holiday

Key responsibilities include:

  • Individualizing and modifying care based on patient needs.
  • Collaborating with healthcare team members to enhance patient care.
  • Performing both clinical and clerical functions as an integral member of the primary patient care team.

Applicable Experience:

Less than 1 year

Basic Life Support- American Heart Association or Red Cross, Cert Surgical Tech- National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assist
