Job Posting: Occupational Therapist -Therapeutic Consultation (VA DD Waiver)OverviewCommunity Health and Wellness (CHAW) seeks an Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide Therapeutic Consultation under Virginia's Developmental Disabilities Waivers (FIS/CL). OT is a consultative service: assess needs, create a written OT support plan, train andcoach families/caregivers/DSPs, and monitor outcomes. This role does not provide ongoing direct therapy.Responsibilities Conduct OT assessments and observations. Develop written OT support plans with strategies/adaptations. Demonstrate interventions and train families, caregivers, DSPs. Participate in annual ISP meetings and team reviews. Complete Medicaid-compliant documentation (notes, reviews, training logs, summaries).Qualifications Occupational Therapist licensed in Virginia Experience with individuals with ID/DD.Schedule & ModalityUnit= 1 hour; in-person or HIPAA-compliant teleconsultation. Frequency determined byassessed need and ISP authorization.
Compensation: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
