Job Description
This position is for inpatient acute care OT inside Western Reserve Hospital and working in the areas of medical/surgical, orthopedics, and ICU.
Evaluates patients; plans and administers a medically prescribed occupational therapy program; monitors patient’s progress; directs Occupational Therapy Assistants, and consults with physicians; provides patient and family education; maintains records and processes appropriate charges.
Education and Training
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy, Masters/Doctorate Degree preferred.
- Current License issued by the Occupational Therapy/Physical Therapy/Athletic Trainers Board to practice Occupational Therapy in the State of Ohio.
- BLS required.
Experience
- One (1) year of experience working as a Occupational Therapist preferred.
