What we are looking for:

ODF is looking for an Office Specialist 2 to provide comprehensive administrative support for the Klamath Lake District across all department programs. This position is responsible for performing a wide range of clerical, financial, and program support duties including payroll, purchasing, accounts payable, and fire billing. The role ensures compliance with Federal, State, Department, and District policies, procedures, and legal requirements, and plays a vital part in supporting staff and advancing departmental objectives.

This position requires close coordination with other staff members, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Receptionist/Administrative Support

  • Mail & Deliveries

  • Personnel Support

  • Payroll Officer for the District

  • Accounts Payable Support

  • Forest Practices Clerk

  • Protection from Fire Program Support

Minimum Qualifications:

Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents;

OR

An associate degree in any field;

OR

An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Note: Driver's License Check- This position requires the operation of a state vehicle for the purpose of conducting official State business. If your license is from outside Oregon, you must submit at least a three-year court/DMV printout. If you have an Oregon driver's license, a record check will be conducted on the top candidate to ensure a valid license and acceptable driving record.
