Job Opportunity: Home Oil Technician - Newfoundland, NJ
$30-$40 hourly/profit sharing/Christmas bonuses/yearly performance raiseFULL BENEFITS!!!!!
Key Responsibilities
- Perform annual tune-ups and cleanings on oil burners, boilers, furnaces, and hot water heaters
- Diagnose and repair issues with oil-fired systems, including burners, pumps, controls, and heat exchangers
- Replace components such as nozzles, filters, ignition transformers, and electrodes
- Conduct efficiency tests, adjust combustion settings, and perform safety checks
- Install new or replacement oil heating equipment and hot water systems
- Respond to emergency no-heat calls and troubleshoot system failures
Qualifications & Requirements
- 2+ years experience servicing oil-fired heating/hot water systems (boilers, furnaces, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of oil burner operation, combustion analysis, and HVAC principles
- Relevant Certifications a MUST (EPA, or state oil burner license)
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and handle outdoor conditions
- Excellent troubleshooting and customer communication skills
