Please Note: This is a remote role with a high travel requirement. While the position is remote, candidates must be regionally based (Midwest/East, Central, or West) to support active construction sites.
This role is primarily field-based, with frequent travel between markets and regular in-person check-ins with construction teams. Candidates should expect to spend the majority of their time on the road rather than working from a fixed office location.

Role Overview
The Onsite Superintendent is responsible for leading, coordinating, and executing onsite installations across multiple project locations nationwide. This role serves as the primary field representative, ensuring that installations are completed safely, on schedule, within scope, and to quality standards. The position requires extensive travel and hands-on leadership of crews, subcontractors, and client coordination in dynamic field environments.
Key Responsibilities•* Lead and manage onsite installation activities from mobilization through final acceptance.•* Serve as the main point of contact at job sites for city staff, property owners, contractors, and inspectors.•* Coordinate onsite labor, equipment, materials, and logistics for each installation.•* Review project drawings, specifications, and schedules prior to mobilization.•* Conduct site walks, pre-install meetings, and daily safety briefings.•* Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and site-specific requirements.•* Supervise internal crews and subcontractors; verify workmanship and productivity.•* Track progress against schedule and resolve field issues in real time.•* Document installations with photos, reports, and punch lists.•* Manage onsite change conditions and coordinate with project management for approvals.•* Oversee site cleanup, demobilization, and final client sign-off.•* Travel to support projects nationwide.
Qualifications•* 5+ years of experience in field installation, construction, fabrication, or similar trade-based environments.•* Proven experience leading crews and managing onsite operations.•* Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and installation plans.•* Excellent communication and client-facing skills.•* High level of organization and problem-solving ability.•* Comfortable working in variable outdoor and industrial environments.•* Willingness and ability to travel extensively (including nights and weekends as required).•* Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Additional Skills•* Experience managing multi-site or national rollout programs.•* Familiarity with permits, inspections, and PROWAG coordination.•* Mechanical, electrical, signage, AV, or specialty installation background is a plus.•* Basic computer skills for reporting, scheduling, and documentation.
