Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Operations and Maintenance Technician (HVAC) to join our Facilities Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of critical HVAC systems that support both general and cleanroom environments across the facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine system checks and field rounds to ensure all HVAC systems operate within prescribed parameters.
  • Oversee operation of systems such as cleanroom and general air handlers, exhaust fans, rooftop units, chillers, cooling towers, and compressed air systems.
  • Proactively identify equipment issues and accurately record findings in the equipment maintenance tracking software.
  • Coordinate and execute timely maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Manage equipment/system rotations to support continuous operations.
  • Plan and coordinate system shutdowns or outages with minimal disruption.
  • Monitor and maintain system compliance with environmental standards through BMS data.
  • Use Human Machine Interface (HMI) trends and event logs to diagnose system anomalies and implement effective solutions.
  • Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role. 

Skills Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC systems operation and maintenance, preferably in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated manufacturing environment, PREFERRED.
  • Strong understanding of BMS systems and HVAC operational principles.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom environments and associated air handling protocols is a plus.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a highly regulated, compliance-driven environment.

Education / Licenses / Certifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical degree or HVAC certification preferred.
  • Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable

Compensation:

  • $30-$40/hour DOE

Schedule:

  • Wednesday through Saturday, 2PM to 12:30 AM
