Job Overview:Organically Green Horticultural Services is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Operations Assistant to join our team in Port Jefferson, NY. This role is ideal for a candidate who is passionate about plant healthcare and operational excellence. The ideal candidate must hold an ISA Certification and will assist in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and environmental care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Operations Manager in coordinating daily schedules, logistics, and team assignments.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering and tracking supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies.
• Provide technical expertise in arboriculture and plant healthcare, leveraging ISA certification knowledge.
• Maintain accurate records of services, inspections, and operational activities.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to address inquiries and resolve issues.
• Conduct site visits to ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines.
• Collaborate with the team to optimize workflows and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• ISA Certification (International Society of Arboriculture) is required.
• Previous experience in horticulture, landscaping, or operations management is preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
