Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for an Operations Manager - Safety. If you have familiarity and experience in warehouse management, health and safety, process management, and are organized with great people skills, this is the position for you!
Responsibilities:
Oversee the facilities of the operation to provide a compliant, safe, and well-maintained work environment
Communicate with local Operations Coordinators and Centralized Operations team to resolve operational issues
Assist with process implementation and training pertaining to operational functions
Own the push of H&S initiatives at a market level
Conduct training in all areas of safety
Assist with onboarding of new associates and ensure timely completion of training
Maintain the safety and security of the Branch in accordance with OSHA standards and enforce all policies, rules, regulations, and procedures set by the organization.
Build relationships with our customers and associates across departments and customer groups
Assist with incident management, investigation, and reporting
Help with monthly and quarterly facility audits and resolution on any findings
Assist with Fleet, Environmental, and Local/State/Federal Regulation needs and requirements
Engage safety committees and assist with recordkeeping
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
A passion for safety and enthusiasm towards building a First in Safety culture is a must
3+ years’ experience handling inventory/operational tasks
3+ years of management experience
Leadership and organizational skills
Good judgment and decision-making abilities
Phenomenal interpersonal skills and the ability and desire to manage a team
A solid understanding of OSHA and DOT regulations
Experience in our industry is a plus
A willingness to learn and being able to go above and beyond is a must

Pay Range:

$4,331.70 - $9,529.30-
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
