Cornerstone Family Healthcare is actively recruiting for an Optometrist to join our growing team in Newburgh, NY.

RATE OF PAY/SALARY: $155K - $165K annually with bonus and revenue sharing opportunities

WORK LOCATION(S): Newburgh, NY

STATUS: Full Time or Part Time

Cornerstone Family Healthcare is a patient-focused Federally Qualified Health Center located in the Hudson Valley Region of upstate New York - just 70 miles north of New York City. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated optometrist to join our team providing comprehensive eye care services.

This full-time or part-time position offers an excellent opportunity to work at the top of your license and make a significant impact on the lives of patients. We are looking for an individual who is a team player, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and able to complete both routine and medical eye exams.

The Position:

  • Professional autonomy to care for patients
  • Provide wide range of eye care and vision needs (both routine and medical eye exams)
  • Working in our community health center that provides a full range of primary care and specialty services
  • Baseline Salary with incentive bonus available.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
  • New York State unrestricted license to practice Optometry including ability to prescribe oral therapeutic pharmaceutical agents (or willingness to obtain certification)
  • Residency training a plus
  • Clinical Spanish a plus
  • Ability to work with pediatric patients a plus
