OSM Construction Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Offsite Manufacturing Superintendent to oversee prefabrication activities supporting large-scale semiconductor construction projects. This role will manage the off-site manufacturing of trestles, laterals, and associated structural and piping assemblies, ensuring seamless alignment with on-site construction schedules and installation requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the off-site manufacturing of trestles, laterals, and associated structural and piping assemblies. 
• Ensure all prefabricated components are fabricated in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. 
• Coordinate with Hoffman Construction’s on-site leadership to align off-site fabrication with project schedules and installation requirements. 
• Oversee subcontractors, fabricators, and logistics providers to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery to the Micron job site. 
• Conduct regular inspections of fabricated assemblies for safety, quality, and compliance with design requirements. 
• Monitor productivity and progress at the fabrication facility; report updates, risks, and challenges to project leadership. 
• Drive adherence to safety programs, policies, and OSHA standards at all stages of fabrication. 
• Manage material tracking, inventory, and delivery logistics to ensure efficient flow between off-site manufacturing and on-site installation. 
• Provide leadership in resolving technical issues, design changes, or fabrication challenges. 
• Support turnover documentation for all prefabricated systems, ensuring readiness for on-site installation. 
• Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role. 

Skills Required:

• 5+ years of construction supervision experience, with exposure to large-scale industrial or semiconductor projects.
• Strong knowledge of prefabrication methods, trestle and lateral assemblies, and process/utility system supports.
• Proven track record of managing off-site fabrication or modular construction operations.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, fabrication details, and installation plans.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills to oversee subcontractors and coordinate with general contractor teams.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with construction leadership, fabricators, and logistics providers.

Education / Licenses / Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or any engineering discipline is highly preferred, but not required.
• OSHA 10.
• Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.
