Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick Ticket Management: Generate and manage daily pick tickets from the ERP system and distribute them to material handlers or warehouse personnel.
- Order Staging Coordination: Ensure finished goods are staged on time for shipping, aligned with carrier schedules and customer delivery expectations.
- Availability Checks: Monitor order status in the ERP system to ensure inventory is available; escalate backorders or shortages promptly to customer service and production planning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with customer service, production, inventory control, and logistics teams to resolve order issues and maintain fulfillment timelines.
- Communication & Problem Solving: Identify potential fulfillment delays and proactively communicate resolutions or alternatives to stakeholders.
- Inventory Accuracy: Assist in confirming finished goods inventory accuracy in coordination with the warehouse team; flag discrepancies that may impact shipping.
- ERP & Reporting: Utilize ERP tools to review order queues, shipment schedules, and reporting dashboards to support daily operations.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements related to order fulfillment, inventory staging, and warehouse workflow efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensure all outbound shipments follow internal quality standards, labeling requirements, and customer specifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in material planning or logistics, preferably in the building products or manufacturing industry.
- Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred, but other ERP experience acceptable).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work proactively, anticipate needs, and stay ahead of production schedules.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across departments and with external suppliers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) is a plus.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, just-in-time (JIT), and Kanban systems.
- Experience with transportation and warehouse coordination in a manufacturing setting.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets. The annual salary for this position ranges from $67,500 in our lowest market up to $75,000 in our highest market, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. The pay for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific work location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
