Outside Parts Sales Representative - TRP/Kenworth

TRP/Kenworth of Ellicott City is hiring an Outside Parts Sales Representative to grow and maintain relationships with fleets, repair shops, municipalities, and independent service centers. This role combines sales, customer service, and technical knowledge to expand our territory and deliver outstanding support to our customers across Ellicott City and Westminster.

Compensation & Schedule

• Base salary: $41,000

• Commission opportunities with ~$65,000 OTE (based on performance)

• Full-time, field-based role with frequent local travel (approx. 80%)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and grow parts sales to fleets, independent shops, municipalities, and other customers

• Travel daily within assigned territory; maintain compliance with traffic laws (company car provided)

• Utilize CRM to manage pipeline, track activity, and forecast opportunities

• Meet/exceed sales goals and performance metrics

• Communicate professionally with a wide range of customers; provide timely quotes and follow-ups

Requirements & Preferred Qualifications

• 21+ years old and insurable under company policy (driving required)

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Prior experience with Kenworth/Ford heavy-duty truck parts strongly preferred

• Proven customer-facing sales or account management experience

• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills; CRM proficiency
