The primary function of this position is to ensure titration levels are maintained during the cleansing process.
Essential Duties:
- Perform proper steps to assure metal surfaces are fully cleaned, rinsed and prepared for painting
- Must perform PH checks as necessary
- Maintain and calibrate PH meters
- Clean and refill titration tanks as directed
- Able to use overhead hoist to lower parts/baskets into titration tank
- Must follow all EPA regulations as related to this position
- Accurately reports shop floor production data via computer terminal and/or written reporting
- Follows both visual and written work instructions in order to complete assigned tasks within set time allotted
- Performs cycle counting of parts and material handling duties as required
- Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization
- Adheres to all quality and safety standards
- Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned
Education/Experience/Other Skills and Abilities:
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- 1-3 years related industry experience preferred
- Familiar with Military Specifications: TTC-490, MIL-DTL-5541, MIL-DTL-53072
- Must possess an understanding of basic mathematical skills as well as a general knowledge of measures and units
- Ability to work from verbal/written instructions
- Able to operate fork lift
- Able to work in extreme heat and with hazardous chemicals
- Must be able to operate small power tools, other hand tools, computerized and high-pressure equipment
- Frequently lifting up to 50lbs., occasional lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE), as required per plant rules
