Palletizer, 2Nd Shift (A2-10) (5439)

Job Summary:

• Manually palletize product within the Distribution Center at the conveyor unload station. Place finished items from Production onto pallets for storage in prescribed configuration

Job Responsibilities:

• Sort individual cartons of product onto pallets for storage
• Verify item number on each carton to accurately sort and stack
• Stack cartons according to predetermined stack patterns and quantities
• Use computer to check stacking patterns as needed
• Team lift as required to handle large or heavy cartons
• Push finished pallets to back of conveyor
• Maintain clean and orderly work area
• Maintain accuracy in all duties
• Work effectively with other team members
• Participate in LEAN principles, "5S" and continuous improvement activities.
• Perform all jobs within company safety guidelines
• Maintain acceptable attendance record
• May perform other duties as an Assembler depending on work load

Job Requirements:

• Must possess High School Diploma or equivalent (completed)
• Demonstrate good attention to detail
• Prior use of WMS and RF scanner preferred
• Basic computer skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 35lbs. overhead repeatedly
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 75lbs.
• Stand and/or walk continuously through shift
