Purpose of Role:
Marec is seeking a Paralegal who will provide administrative support as well as substantive support to the attorneys in the legal department.
Marex has unique access across markets with significant share globally both on and off exchange. The depth of knowledge amongst its teams and divisions provides its customers with clear advantage, and its technology-led service provides access to all major exchanges, order-flow management via screen, voice and DMA, plus award-winning data, insights and analytics.
The Legal Department supports functional areas across Marex with timely, focused, practical legal services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the US Legal department. Initiate and facilitate legal operations efficiencies.
- Generate, oversee and update various legal reports.
- Manage the Legal inbox and calendar.
- Maintain and administer the department's contract lifecycle management platform and other technology solutions to ensure operational efficiency and data integrity.
- Engage in and when required undertake project management/administration of projects engaged by the Legal team.
- Basic drafting such as correspondence and composition of agreements in accordance with approved templates.
- Process invoices.
- Take meeting minutes, where and if required.
- Assist with document hold notices and third party subpoenas.
- Serve as a key point of contact for technology-related issues within the Legal department, including troubleshooting and coordinating with IT as needed.

- Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
Salary Range: $70,000 to $100,000 per year plus discretionary bonus
