Front Desk Guest Service - Day, Evenings & Weekends
Purpose
To provide excellent guest service in person and over the phone by coordinating guest and stylist schedules, ensuring a cheerful, meaningful visit from beginning to end.
Essential Functions
Deliver an exceptional guest experience by:
Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and over the phone
Scheduling appointments politely and efficiently
Processing transactions accurately at the point of sale
Promoting additional services, retail products, and gift cards
Acquiring Aveda product knowledge to recommend and sell merchandise confidently
Identifying guests prior to arrival and connecting them promptly with their stylist
Operating SpaBiz efficiently in relation to guest services and sales
Managing service and retail tickets, updating charges in SpaBiz when necessary, and collecting payments
Entering and maintaining accurate guest information in SpaBiz
Referring guest complaints to management through Challenge Forms
Assisting in stocking and maintaining merchandise displays
Keeping all areas clean and presentable
Performing additional duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications
Previous customer service experience (retail preferred)
Strong multitasking ability
Comfortable with computers/point-of-sale systems
Reliable and available to work evenings and weekends
