A quick summary about the Part-Time 50/50 Raffle Sales Ambassador Role:

The Orlando Magic Youth Foundation (OMYF) is looking for friendly, high-energy, and motivated individuals to join our team as part-time, seasonal 50/50 Raffle Sellers for the 2025-26 Orlando Magic and Solar Bears seasons.

In this exciting role, you'll be a key part of our game-day fundraising team - engaging with fans, promoting the 50/50 raffle, and helping raise critical funds to support youth-focused nonprofit organizations across Central Florida. You'll have the opportunity to work every Orlando Magic home game and approximately half of the Solar Bears home games at the Kia Center.

This position is ideal for outgoing, motivated individuals who are passionate about sports, community impact, and engaging with fans in a fun and energetic environment. If you thrive in a fast-paced sports atmosphere and want to make a difference in the community, we'd love to hear from you!

What the position will be responsible for:

  • Proactively approaching fans before and during Orlando Magic home games and select Solar Bears games to explain and promote the 50/50 raffle program.
  • Accurately process raffle ticket sales using handheld electronic devices, ensuring secure and efficient transactions.
  • Communicate the mission and impact of the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation to inspire fan participation and support.
  • Meet or exceed individual sales goals as outlined by the Raffle Manager.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions about the raffle and responding to fan inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Utilize creative and persuasive sales techniques to drive participation and maximize funds raised.
  • Represent OMYF and the Orlando Magic with a positive, team-oriented attitude and a commitment to excellence.
  • Demonstrate reliability, energy, and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced game-day environment.
  • Assist with additional game-day operations or responsibilities as needed.

What is required for the role:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or fan engagement preferred.
  • Must be able to maintain high levels of enthusiasm and energy while interacting with a diverse fan base in a fast-paced, loud environment.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
  • Hours: Approximately 3.5 to 4 hours per shift at each Orlando Magic and Solar Bears home game at the Kia Center (including 2 Magic preseason games, 42 regular season Magic home games, and approximately 18 Solar Bear home games).
  • Availability Requirement: A minimum commitment of 21 Orlando Magic home games and availability for approximately half of the Solar Bears home games is expected.
  • Additional Opportunities: Participation in potential playoff games may also be requested.

Physical requirements

  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time throughout the duration of a shift; this is a physically active, on-your-feet role. The position also requires the ability to frequently go up and down stairs as part of regular duties.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

If this opportunity is a job you're passionate about and it fits with your skills and experience, then we welcome you to take the next step and apply!

All offers of employment are contingent on successful completion of our pre-employment screenings, that will include a background check and may include a drug screen.
