Job Description
The School of Nursing and Health Sciences at Vermont State University, invites applications for Part-Time Clinical Instructors within our Practical Nursing Program and Associate of Science in Nursing Program. Located on campus sites across the State of Vermont, we are seeking clinical instructors for a variety of clinical courses in the fall 2025, winter 2025-2026, and spring 2026 semesters.
Clinical courses include long term care, medical-surgical nursing, mental health, and maternal child nursing, and will include agency-based work and on campus clinical lab work. Clinical sites where instruction occurs vary according to the specialty and campus location. Instructors are expected to have reliable transportation to the assigned clinical agency and/or assigned campus lab. Applicants will discuss transportation expectations during the interview and hire process.
Minimum Qualifications:
It is preferred that applicants are master’s prepared, although, registered nurses with a BSN will be considered. An active unencumbered Vermont RN licensure or eligibility for an unencumbered Vermont license required. A valid driver's license is required.
Salary:
Based on the applicant’s educational preparation and the number of clinical hours associated with the assigned course. The compensation or range of compensation for this role can be found Part-Time Faculty Federation Agreement to the particular collective bargaining agreement.
