Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain crematory equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform cremations in full compliance with state regulations and company standards
- Accurately identify, track, and process remains throughout all stages of cremation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly crematory environment
- Complete required documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
- Work collaboratively with funeral home staff to ensure timely and dignified service
Requirements
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
- Ability to follow established procedures and regulatory requirements precisely
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and be on-call as needed
- Ability to lift and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Crematory certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification
