Job Description
Position: Activities Coordinator
Palmettos of Charleston is seeking a Part-Time Memory Care Activities Coordinator 3 to 4 days a weeks. This is a part time position which is flexible on days and times. If you are looking for a fun, part-time, flexible position, this is it.
Experience
- Ability to pass a background check
- Associate's degree from an accredited college or university OR
- Satisfactory completion of two years of college OR
- Two years of experience in long term care as it relates to activities and memory care
- Experience with Dementia preferred

Position Highlights:
- Plan and coordinate well-rounded activities for a 15-apartment Memory Care unit
- Create activity calendar and ensure it is followed accordingly
- Assist with nursing/caregiving to ensure quality of care for the residents as needed.
- Work closely with Memory Care Director
- Partner with Life Enrichment Director for center wide activities
- Demonstrate positive and professional work habits
