After-School Nanny Needed – Glenview, IL
A warm and welcoming Glenview family is seeking a reliable, engaging part-time after-school nanny to care for their two children (ages 5 and 9). Start date Nov 1.
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday, 2:30–6:00 PM
- Additional hours may be available for tasks such as grocery shopping or errands.
The family has two parakeets and fish (no other pets). Dad works from a home office when not traveling.
About the Role:The family is looking for a nanny who can connect with their kids, build a strong bond, and keep them on track with their routines. The ideal candidate will be playful, energetic, and responsible, with great communication skills for both children and parents.
Responsibilities include:
- School pickups
- Preparing after-school snacks and occasionally warming meals
- Keeping play areas and common spaces tidy (and encouraging kids to help)
- Light household tasks such as ensuring the kitchen is clean and the dishwasher is emptied
Compensation & Perks:
