Parts Counter Representative - Heavy Equipment

Vermeer All Roads is opening a brand-new location in Chichester, NH, and we're hiring an experienced Parts Counter Representative to join our team! If you're a parts guru who enjoys researching and problem-solving, this is your opportunity to make an immediate impact. In this role, you'll be responsible for coordinating and selling heavy-duty and heavy-equipment parts to both internal and external customers, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and outstanding service.

Compensation & Schedule

• Starting salary: $45,000+ (based on experience)

• Salary plus commission

• Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting required parts and provide accurate price quotes

• Upsell specials and advise customers on companion part requirements

• Receive payments and process credit authorizations

• Follow up with customers regarding back-ordered parts

• Support technicians by retrieving and ordering parts for existing work orders

• Coordinate procurement of parts with the Assistant Parts Manager

• Stay current with industry trends and apply technical knowledge to daily work

• Operate a forklift as needed

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands, and reach with arms

• Ability to lift and transport materials up to 50 lbs. regularly and occasionally up to 80 lbs.

Requirements

• Prior experience in heavy-duty and/or heavy equipment parts strongly preferred

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
