Key Position Details:
Candidates must live within a commutable distance to the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro area
Homebase is Abbott Northwestern Hospital
Position is onsite with opportunities to work remotely
Full time position (80 hours every two-week pay period)
8-hour, day shifts 8a - 430p
No weekends
Job Description:
Serves patients and families by listening, investigating and providing follow-up to concerns, complaints and grievances. Assists with responses and interactions with regulatory agencies.
Principle Responsibilities
Serves patients and families.
Listens, investigates and works to provide resolution.
Authorizes financial accommodation.
May oversee processes and procedures providing recommendations and revisions.
Responds to care concerns as required by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) of Participation.
Serves as a resource to internal and external customers.
Collaborates on managing concerns and conflicts.
Creates and analyzes data.
Assists with investigations and surveys by external agencies.
May lead and participate on committees.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Care or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years experience in customer service
- 2 to 5 years experience in direct patient care
Licenses/Certifications
- Licensure or certification applicable to degree
Physical Demands
- Sedentary:
- Lifting weight up to 10 lbs. occasionally, negligible weight frequently
Pay Range
Pay Range: $33.49 to $45.90 per hour
The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
