Job Description
The Patient Care Technician provides a variety of indirect and direct care, including provision for patient's dependency needs such as nutrition, hygiene, safety and physical and psychological comfort measures, to patient and significant others, under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values.
- High school diploma or G.E.D and Florida CNA license is required
- Oncology experience required; bone marrow transplant experience and Cellular infusion highly preferred.
- This position will rotate to both the Inpatient and Outpatient BMT/Cellular - Immunotherapy Units which specializes in the care and treatment of the Adult Blood and Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy.
