Freeman Regional Health Service is looking for individuals to join our growing, team-oriented organization.

Position Highlights

Full Time (working 40 hours per week)

Work Shift:

8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

A Brief Overview

Coordinates with multiple departments for patient registration, insurance verification, workers compensation claims, and data entry. A successful representative is responsible for working closely with patients, insurance companies and internal team members.

What you will do:

  • Welcomes patients, checking them in and completing registration which includes verifying demographics and insurance.

  • Responsible for insurance verifications, authorizations and getting consent and waiver forms signed as appropriate.

  • Responsible for scanning all pertinent information into the patient's record.

  • Assists with patient inquires and requests from staff.

  • Maintains computer appointment scheduling and follows office scheduling policies.

  • Loads health care documents into proper system for discharge planning.

  • Expedites delivery of care by coordinating nurse, physician, and patient time.

  • Acts as public relations by serving the patients in a friendly, efficient manner.

  • Duties as assigned.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

  • High School or GED Equivalent

Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

  • 1-3 months related experience and/or training

Minimum Age Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
