YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:
TheFieldPayrollAccountantisresponsibleforestablishingandmaintainingpayrolltablestocontrolpay rates and fringe benefit rates in accordance with union agreements.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Assistwithprocessingmonthlyfringebenefitreporting,transmittals,andpaymentstoallunions.
AssistinPrevailingWagereportingandaudits.ReconcileFringeBenefitaccrualsagainstpayments and GL.
Interpretunioncontractsandprocesstheuploadofunionrate&fringechanges.
KeepalertforPrevailingWage/CertifiedPayrollrequirementsandprocessappropriateset-ups.
Set-upnewunionjobandfringestructuresinOracle.Workwithtrustfundsonmonthlyreporting requirements.
Set-upandmaintainfringereportingrequirementsinAccess.
ProcessCertifiedPayroll,bothonlineandpapercopies.
Workwithotherdepartmentstocorrectandre-filecertifiedpayrollsasneeded.
Implementandmaintainunionportabilityaccruals,payments,andpayrolldeductionsforout-of- area agreements.
Responsiblefortimelyandaccurateprocessofunionfringebenefittransmittals.
Reconcilemonthlyfringeaccrualsandpaymentstogeneralledger.
Implementprocedurestocorrectunionaccrual/paymentvariances.
Complywithgovernmentstatisticalreportingandwage surveys.
MaintainCompanyassignedvehiclesloginemployeepayrollmasterfileandensureaccurate taxability is applied to personnel.
Addressprocessesthatneedstreamliningorautomation.
Scanandindexunioncontractsandupdatedetailsintoanimagingsystem.
Thedutiesandresponsibilitiesareintendedtodescribethegeneralnatureandscopeofworkbeing performed by this position.This is not acomplete listing and other duties will beassigned basedon the position’s role within the business unit.

Bachelor’sdegreeinFinance,Accounting,orrelateddiscipline
Minimum5years’workexperiencewithaunion employer
AmericanPayrollAssociation(APA)membershipisdesirable
Canbeacombinationofeducation,training,andrelevant experience
WORKING CONDITIONS:
General work environment – sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning
Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.

Pay Range
$33.45-$44.00 HourlyThe pay range for this role is what we expect to pay for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this job description. Candidate’s pay can vary based on location, job-related experience, skills, and education.
