Job Description
Eichleay is seeking a proactive and results-driven People Specialist (HR) to join our People Team in our Ferndale, WA office. Your ideas matter at Eichleay, we're tackling challenges that redefine the EPCM industry. We're looking for a People Specialist with experience in recruitment and human resources who thrives on innovation and wants to make a real difference. In this role, you'll create measurable value through innovation, efficiency, and client success - helping us deliver solutions that set new standards in the industry. This role will focus on recruitment as well as providing human resources (HR) generalist support for employees in the Pacific Northwest region. You will work directly with leadership, discipline leads, project managers, and Eichleay clients. This role reports into the People team and requires in-person interactions at onsite client locations, events and Eichleay office locations as needed.

Compensation: $50,000 - $95,000 *Anticipated annual salary may vary based on skills, experience, qualifications and internal peer equity. The pay range listed for this position is based on the anticipated base compensation at the time of the posting.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers and discipline leads to identify staffing requirements for project management, procurement, project controls, engineers and designers across multiple disciplines (civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, piping, process, instrumentation), and other related support roles.
- Assist with the development of recruiting strategies and execute strategies to attract qualified candidates through the use of AI, job boards, social media, networking, and industry events.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations.
- Build and nurture talent pipelines for future project needs, seconded opportunities, and strategic pursuits, including specialized roles for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM).
- Collaborate with the People Team to enhance employer branding and candidate experience.
- Provide regular updates and metrics to leadership on recruiting progress and market trends.
- Assist employees in the region with general HR support.
Location: Ferndale, WA office is preferred, will consider hybrid for local based candidates.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or 5 years of equivalent experience).
3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in engineering, construction, or industrial sectors.
Ability to demonstrate a successful ability to meet and exceed goals.
Good understanding of technical roles such as engineers and designers (civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, piping etc.).
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency with HRIS tools including applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools.
Preferred experience with UKG Pro, UKG Recruitment Gateway, Rival/Entelo, SeekOut, Linked IN or similar.
Highly desired experience with AI platforms related to recruitment.
Ability to manage multiple requisitions and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including technical communication through email, writing technical reports and presenting in a group environment.
Ability to deal with change and demonstrate flexibility as required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
