Job Description

Position Overview

Inabia is seeking a reliable and independent Pharmacist to join its Pharmacy department. This role is based in a critical access facility, where the pharmacist will be responsible for managing daily pharmacy operations and providing safe, effective medication services, often working independently.

The ideal candidate is clinically sound, detail-oriented, and comfortable working autonomously in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, prepare, dispense, and verify medications in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies

  • Ensure safe and accurate medication distribution and compliance with state and federal regulations

  • Provide clinical support and medication guidance to healthcare providers and nursing staff

  • Monitor drug therapies for appropriateness, interactions, and effectiveness

  • Maintain pharmacy records, inventory, and controlled substance documentation

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital procedures

  • Operate independently during assigned shifts in a critical access setting

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday

  • Shifts: 8-hour day shifts

  • Work Environment: Critical access hospital; ability to work independently is required

Compensation & Benefits

  • Affordable housing options available, approximately $500–$600 per month

Qualifications

  • Active Pharmacist license in the state of North Dakota

  • PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution

  • Hospital pharmacy experience preferred

  • Ability to work independently and manage pharmacy operations

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
