ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Pharmacy Driver is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
- Responsible for retrieving pharmacy orders from designated store and delivering to customer. Deliveries are made to both commercial and residential locations.
- Responsible for efficiently delivering orders daily.
- Work closely with Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist to respond to customer requests.
- Communicate with stores, and other businesses to ensure timely and efficient delivery of prescriptions.
- Responsible for loading and unloading delivery van.
- Provide daily upkeep/sanitation for delivery vehicle.
- Maintain a clean driving record under duties.8. Provide excellent customer service to the stores and guests.
- Responsible for completing delivery logs and pre/post trip sheets daily.
- Adhere to all safety policies, procedures and best practices while performing tasks in a manner that always promote safety. As well as following state, local, federal driving laws always.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position currently has no supervisor responsibilities.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, the Associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without an accommodation. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Must have a valid state driver’s license.
