Pharmacy Supervisor – Home Infusion

Role Highlights

Nebraska Medicine is seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor to provide direct on-site leadership for our Home Infusion Pharmacy. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving workflow improvements. The supervisor will lead a team of pharmacists and staff, and support professional development.

Preference will be given to applicants with previous home infusion experience.

Shift & Schedule

  • Full Time – 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period)

  • 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday

  • Location: Nebraska Medicine Home Infusion Pharmacy

Provide daily leadership and direction to all on-site pharmacy staff at an outpatient location. Ensure the pharmacy team can adequately prepare, dispense, and distribute medication and provide clinical monitoring and drug information in a manner which ensures optimal patient care.

Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum of five years clinical practice experience in the clinical specialty or an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited postgraduate year two residency in the specialty required, OR two years Pharmacist experience at a Nebraska Medicine Pharmacy required.
  • Graduate of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited Doctor of Pharmacy degree program OR possess a Bachelor or Master of pharmacy degree with 10 years of experience required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills required.
  • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the State of Nebraska or jurisdiction in which pharmacy practice is conducted current and unrestricted required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification s deemed appropriate and relevant to practice required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later).
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pharmacist experience within Nebraska Medicine preferred.
  • Prior leadership experience preferred.
  • American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited postgraduate year one or two residency as deemed appropriate and relevant to practice or equivalent of three additional years of experience preferred.
  • (BPS) certification as deemed appropriate and relevant to practice strongly preferred.
