What You’ll Do
Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Tech helps ensure that medications are ordered, prepared, and delivered efficiently while maintaining compliance with pharmacy standards and regulations. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality care will directly support positive outcomes for both inpatients and outpatients across our hospital.
- Assist pharmacists in preparing, labeling, and distributing medications for inpatients and outpatients.
- Process computerized medication orders and verify prescription, refill, and patient information.
- Prepare intravenous (IV) admixtures and perform non-sterile compounding under supervision.
- Receive, stock, and organize medication and supply inventory to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Complete charging and documentation for medications and related pharmacy services.
- Support accurate and timely medication order processing and fulfillment.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the pharmacy work area.
- Perform clerical and administrative duties as needed to support daily operations.
- Communicate effectively with pharmacy staff, nurses, and other care team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
Who We’re Looking For
- Must be a graduate from an accredited school for Pharmacy technology.
- Must possess a current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification with The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or must obtain certification within one year of hire date with GRHD.
- Requires one to three years of related experience.
What We OfferOur total rewards package includes
- Pay Range: $21.00 - $27.00 an hour Dependent on experience may vary outside this range
- Shift Differentials: $2–$4/hour for nights and weekends
- PRN Differential: 10% differential in addition to base rate salary

Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
